Account Access

Q: I cannot sign in. What should I do?
A: Confirm that you are using the email address associated with your StateQuant account and check your internet connection. If password reset is available in your version of the app, use the reset link. Otherwise, contact support. Never send us your password.

Q: Does StateQuant have subscriptions?
A: No. StateQuant does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Open Account in the StateQuant app, choose Delete account, and confirm. If you cannot access the app, email statequant@appquant.app from the address associated with your account using the subject “StateQuant Account Deletion Request.” We may ask you to verify ownership, but we will never ask for your password.

Deleting your account permanently removes your Firebase Authentication login, StateQuant user profile, watchlist, alert preferences, and account-associated push-notification tokens. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Limited security, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or backup records may remain where reasonably necessary or legally required, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Watchlist & Market Data

Q: How do I change my watchlist?
A: Open Account and select or remove supported tickers. Your watchlist is an app-display preference; it is not a brokerage portfolio or record of your holdings.

Q: Why is data stale, missing, or unavailable?
A: StateQuant reads already-computed market state from its cloud service. Exchange schedules, upstream-data delays, maintenance, network problems, or insufficient history can make a ticker stale or temporarily unavailable. Pull to refresh when connected.

Q: Does StateQuant recommend investments?
A: No. StateQuant provides general informational and educational market analysis, not investment or financial advice.

Notifications

Q: How do I enable or disable alerts?
A: Use the alert setting in Account and allow notifications in your device settings. Alerts are opt-in.

Q: Why did I not receive an alert?
A: An alert is sent only for a qualifying event on a watched ticker. Delivery can also be delayed or prevented by device settings, connectivity, platform push services, or service interruptions. Do not rely on notifications for time-sensitive financial decisions.

Account Information

• Identity: Email address, Firebase Authentication user identifier, and account-creation timestamp
• Authentication: Firebase Authentication manages credentials. AppQuant LLC does not receive or store your plaintext password

Service Preferences

• Watchlist: The supported ticker symbols you choose to display
• Alerts: Whether alerts are enabled and which watched tickers may generate alerts
• Local Preferences: Limited app settings, such as onboarding completion, stored on your device

Device, Push, and Security Information

• Push Delivery: Firebase Cloud Messaging token, a per-installation identifier, platform, app version, build number, notification environment, and token-registration timestamps
• App Integrity: App Check and platform-integrity information used to distinguish authentic app requests and protect the service
• Operational Records: Network, request, error, security, and service logs that may include IP address, device or operating-system information, and timestamps

Information We Do Not Request

StateQuant does not connect to brokerage accounts and does not request your holdings, trades, payment-card information, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier. StateQuant does not currently offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Information Sharing

• Apple: Apple Push Notification service and platform-integrity services for iOS delivery and security

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain account information, watchlists, and alert preferences while your account is active. Push-registration records are updated as tokens rotate and may be deleted or disabled when you sign out, delete an account, or when a token becomes invalid.

In-app account deletion is processed when you confirm the request. Email requests require ownership verification and are processed promptly. Limited security, fraud-prevention, legal, dispute, and backup records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary for those purposes. Cloud and platform providers may retain operational records under their own retention schedules.

• Notifications: Disable StateQuant alerts in Account or revoke notification permission in device settings

Agreement to Terms

Service Description

StateQuant displays already-computed market-regime information for a focused set of supported securities. Depending on available data, the Service may show daily and weekly trend state, volatility state, persistence, technical measurements, signal context, regime changes, and selected historical-pattern observations. Users may maintain a watchlist and opt into notifications for qualifying events.

StateQuant does not execute trades, connect to brokerage accounts, hold funds or securities, manage portfolios, or provide individualized recommendations. A StateQuant watchlist is a display preference, not a statement of ownership.

No Financial or Investment Advice

StateQuant provides general informational and educational market analysis only. It is not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

• AppQuant LLC is not acting as your broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, fiduciary, or agent
• The Service does not recommend, solicit, or endorse any security, transaction, trading strategy, or investment decision
• Market classifications, scores, labels, pattern observations, and alerts are model outputs—not price predictions or guarantees

Market Data, Models & Availability

• The Service requires an internet connection for current cloud data and may display cached information while offline

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, or fitness of any market data or output.

Notification Limitations

Notifications are optional and may arrive late, out of order, more than once, or not at all because of device settings, network conditions, platform push services, upstream data, or Service failures. Do not rely on StateQuant notifications for time-sensitive trading, investment, or risk-management decisions.

Accounts & User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential
• Promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
• Use the Service only for lawful, personal informational purposes
• Be responsible for decisions you make using or after reviewing the Service

You may delete your account from the Account screen in the app. If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion through StateQuant Support.

No Subscription or Purchase

StateQuant does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features are introduced later, applicable pricing and purchase terms will be disclosed before purchase and these Terms will be updated as appropriate.

Prohibited Uses

• Commercial resale, redistribution, republication, or licensing of Service content or outputs
• Automated, scraped, bulk, or excessive access except with our written permission
• Using the Service or its output for illegal, deceptive, manipulative, or fraudulent activity
• Attempting to reverse engineer, bypass, disrupt, probe, or compromise the Service or its security controls
• Misrepresenting StateQuant output as personalized advice, a guaranteed result, or an AppQuant LLC recommendation
• Infringing intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other rights

Intellectual Property & Third-Party Information

The StateQuant software, design, branding, classifications, presentation, and original content are owned by AppQuant LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes.

Market data, security names, trademarks, and other third-party information remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

Changes, Suspension & Termination

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue some or all of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, unlawful conduct, abuse, fraud, security risk, or harm to the Service or others. Disclaimer of Warranties

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppQuant LLC and its members, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill; investment or trading losses; or damages arising from reliance on data, outputs, or notifications. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a legally required alternative forum will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Minnesota, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Severability & Entire Agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and AppQuant LLC concerning StateQuant.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Minnesota, governed by the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

Platform Integration

When accessing SportsQuant through mobile app stores, you are also subject to:

• Google Play Developer Policies (Android users)
• Apple App Store Review Guidelines (iOS users)
• Subscription management is handled through respective platform systems

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that most closely reflects our intent.
